KOC and the Jazz look smarter now. Sloan looks like a better coach for being able to hide the defense of Boozer and Okur. Maybe that is why the Jazz only practised offense?

The sad thing is if the Bulls traded Boozer they would really have zero offense. Sloan's system was really the perfect fit for Boozer and made him look 5x better than he actually is.

As I said in another Boozer thread, it's going to be HILARIOUS to watch the next 4 years as the Bulls try and find a patsie that will rid them of Booz and his horrible contract.

Rose needs to learn how to run the pick and roll. Boozer is one of the best PnR players in the league. Just watch him play with Rose, he always flashes to the basket and Rose NEVER passes to him. He has an open lane often and Rose ends up crossing over, driving, or passing out. They're shooting themselves in the foot not using Boozer in the PnR.

He's a former Jazzman. This can stay here. It's the offseason too, not a lot to talk about.

It's great he's getting called out.
He's a solid starter. Not a guy to help you win a title, push you over the top, etc.
We learned that, and now the Bulls are.

On the other side Big Al is the same way. There aren't too many players who can take you to the next level.
Boozer is a good player, but he's not elite, not great, and will never win a title. Frankly I'm thrilled we've moved on.
Although Big Al isn't that much better, I think his health and blocks make him the better player.
Neither are stars though.

And Big Al is cheaper. Jefferson has proven he can be a 20/10 player (or close enough). And, although we'd like a bigger presence inside, Al can play the 5. Boozer played some at center, but no way could he hold up against the majority of starting 5's.

I'm glad we moved on from Carlos. I'm excited to see Favors develop. Give him a couple more years and he'll basically be at Boozer's age coming out of college. No guarantee, but I think Favors is going to be a much better player, certainly a more rounded one.

And Chicago deserves EXACTLY what they got. It wasn't like Carlos was an unknown entity or there was no game film available.
