What's new

I have seen the future...

We just became a full-on threat for a championship. In a few years.

I think the Jazz can be scary this year, and full-on ready next year. The key is the health of Rudy.
Donovan and Rudy are both outliers. They’re off the charts. When you have guys like that, you’re already a threat to contend. Jazz are hot and getting healthy. This has them getting supremely confident at just the right time.

Dante would have been nice to have all year. He is attacking the rim, and looks stronger.
His summer league play was real.

He is a good asset. Get excited folks. We have the pieces to compete. Just need to figure out the 4 spot, and add a shooter.

I think crowder might just be our perfect 4.

I went to the game tonight... and Dante looks like a completely different player than he has in the past. He was aggressive, smart, and insanely athletic. If he ends up being the player we all think he can be... look out.

Looked less goofy and awkward than usual with his body language too.

Dante haters gonna eat some serious crow.

I was happy to see him try to attack but he's definitely rusty, which is to be expected. Also, not convinced about his shot either, still looks stiff to me. Maybe that's just his form but it looks awkward.

The thing that I am excited about with Dante is that we still have a decent chunk of games for him to get acclimated back and get his confidence and rhythm back before the playoffs.

For what it’s worth. . . I think Favors has proven that he’s going to be the best 4 on the open market and the Jazz have proven that they can make Rubio, Favors and Gobert work. Crowder is a great small ball 4 option, but I worry about him holding up in that role over a full 82 game season. I think that the Gobert, Udoh, Favors, Jerebko, Sefalosha, Crowder frontcourt will remain intact and dominating next year too.

I’m going to believe that the Jazz keep both Favors and Exum this offseason and continue building on what they’re doing right now until he’s gone.
