Even though I think Williams is by far the most talented player in the draft, I think it's hilarious that we have all become "Kanter experts" when none of us have seen him play. Williams hardly played his freshman year and even considered redshirting his sophomore year. Who knows how high is ceiling is?

Not Williams - he's not a true 3 and I don't think his BIG personality will go down well here in Utah.

Because he will know how he really wanted to answer this question a couple of years down the road depending how each guys turns out.
Here's my opinion.
Williams: Love his athleticism and shooting %. I don't like his disappearance on the defensive end until he finds it necessary to play D(like at the end of a couple of games). His motivation is definitely in question in my opinion. He has the talent, but it apparently doesn't match his motivation. He also might not be able to end up being a power 3 which is scary. If he is a 4 then he will not be nearly as valuable.
Kanter: Love his footwork and moves down low. He also can shoot apparently. His defense projects to be slightly above average. He hasn't given us much of a sample size at all to scout him besides a couple of AS games, UK practices, and the combine. He obviously has a work ethic coming in as ripped as he was with a 5.9% body fat. He also is more athletic than we originally thought. Either way, he is a gamble too.
I chose Kanter but would be pleased with either.
