Have you ever met JazzAvenues in real life? Do you know for sure he's even REAL? Have you ever played poker with him? Has he ever been a dick to you for apparently no reason?

Vote Siro. Vote for the guy you know for sure is real.

while my long haired opponent may be right about the suspect nature of JazzAvenues existence, he is and will remain a shill for his own misery.

He has the most likes. I cast the like that put him past Dr. Jones.
Looks like I am closing in on Dr. Jones myself. That would put me in third, which looks impressive considering everyone else on that 20 person list has >10,000 posts.

PKM RIP

@infection, your number of likes is really quite impressive. Of course, your likes / post is 2,257 / 6,109 or 0.37, and I had to round up to get that.

I humbly calculated my own likes / post of 1,027 / 171 or 6.0 when rounded down.

So when I get to 6,109 posts as you have I should have slightly more than 36,600 likes.

But that is not the point. The point is that you must be very proud to be in 3rd place with 2,257 likes. That is an achievement no one can take away, nor would they want to do so.

Most of my posts were before the like button was installed. Nevertheless, from one angle it could be said that having so many likes on an Internet forum may actually be indicative of some type of psychopathology. On the other hand, one could view having so few posts for the likes as simply putting out quality. When the Jazz land Niko this summer, I’ll have to start a “Niko countdown to greatest three point shooter in Jazz history” thread and ride off into the sunset, as my work here will be complete.

As the late Robert Palmer might sing, "You know you're gonna have to face it, you're addicted to likes"

I must admit, this is a pretty solid point!

Don't deflect. You're not a figment of anyone's imagination. But you may be some kind of A.I., straight out of the labs of Google. A very clever algorithm to collect opposing fan quotes. Is it likely? No. But how do we know for sure? This could be how Skynet starts. Is it worth the risk?

I'm the safe vote.

Best overall poster -- well, if you ask me, this is a popularity contest. Infection and Jazz Avenues have provided the most entertainment, but are they the best posters? I really don't know who is; I think everyone on this list has had bad takes. And I've seen good takes get a lot of dislikes and negs in the past, because of the popularity quotient. I'm sure I'm down on the list so far as popularity because I often make unpopular posts. And people still accuse me of being crazy when all I am is honest. Heck, I had one of the best posts of all-time -- the Jingle Joe Christmas post, which I did get some likes but none from the haters.

I am neither confirming nor denying I am Skynet, but it is a coincidence that my first post was at 2:14 a.m., EDT, on August 29, 1997.

A true legend. I will always remember telling his wife that once he set his drink down I was gonna tackle his ***. (He had pushed me off the porch earlier). Little did I know that would lead to the laughter of the ugli baby which spurred an impromptu tackle and follow up dogpile.
My sunglasses got broken into pieces.

I remember pkm had a business meeting the next morning and hopefully he had another pair of pants due to the grass stains of the ones he was wearing.

Recall someone hit a sprinkler head pretty hard and suffered minor injury.

I think ugli peed in the rose bushes.

I almost ate a Katy-did but not enough financial motivation came around.

Pkm also showed up in a vote for trout t-shirt. No one knew he was coming.

I almost got converted to Christianity that night too iirc.

And honz, that handsome devil.

And how about leaving my wallet at gamefaces house and picking it up the next day with more money in ($80 bucks worth iirc) that I left it. I had won the best hand of the night (full house) and gameface cashed out even though I would have never even known I won.
Good people

Good ol’ game face poker party.

Back in the UGLI forum days I had a good thing going. Now I spent too much time pointing out dumb posts. Where is UGLI anyway?

I had so much fun back then but it probably needed to end.... it was too cliquey (?) I miss Chris-L.

I still think The Takeover was hilarious

We you are in the clique it’s never too much.

It was a lot of fun no doubt and I met lots of awesome people due to the ugli forum. Had lots of fun at tailgates and parties. I do miss those days.

Sucks that many of the best of us are gone.

Yeah, Infection/JazzAves have added a lot of great content to this site, but the UGLI/PKM days were the best. They were the Stockton/Malone of Jazzfanz.

We even went to a jazz game together and rooted for the opponent during The Tank
