Bigger trade idea involving Utah - Detroit - Toronto

I would do the trade if we leave our #12 pick out of it, and get Toronto's unprotected 1st round pick in the 2012 draft (or 2013 if there's a lockout).

While reading this topic, I really started to worry. And then! I realized this is another, (In a Don Knotts voice) " What if you took your money and bought a ----t-t--t-, and after you were done ------- her, you tied a big rope to her ----- and threw her over the edge of a -----? ...... OH thats right, Its just your imagination runnning wild.

i wouldnt trade even millsap by himself for bargnani, but getting rid of raja bell seems goood
anyway its a disastourus trade for utah in general

It definitely makes our team better but salary cap wise it's not a strong move. Andrea Bargnani is a young Okur and could easily move in the 5 and allow us to start Big Al at 4. I just don't like giving up Millsap for Rip and the 8th Pick. If they throw in Austin Daye or Stuckey. I would love this trade.

Im just excited becasue I think theres going to be some huge trades go down in the next 3 weeks. Thats really going to help Utah in the rebuilding stages.

This is the absolutely WORST possible time to take on bad contracts just to change around some non-impact players. This would be a great way to ensure we get into the lottery every single year until those contracts are out.

Bad contracts + New CBA = Crippled Franchise for years to come

Now if taking back some bad contracts netted us LeBron or Wade or something similar, then sure, but for Bargnani? Hamilton? Wow that is like asking to be horse-screwed, with superglue to boot.

I still think that Utah could work out a trade with Denver, Gallenari/Felton for Millsap/Evans then move Harris for Batum/ and there pick

Felton, Jimmer
Hayward, Miles
Batum, Gallenari
Favors, Gallenari
Jefferson, Kanter

I don't think 3 teams in the same division would ever do a trade with each other. If one of them got the short end they would be the laughing stock of the division.
