I have been on two camping trips in the last 3 weeks. Went with my family to diamond fork (the place we camp most often) and then with friends to a place called unicorn ridge up sheep creek road (its a free campsite but yet still has fire rings, picnic tables and a bathroom. pretty sweet spot and set up for free)

Gonna go to smith and moorehouse in about 3 weeks or so and then have a trip reserved to payson lakes in july. Probably do one more camping trip in the fall but dont have that one planned yet.
Im loving my new trailer btw.
 
Man i hate camping, go twice a year to a music festival that involves camping, normally sleep in the back of a van and get myself well and truly off chops to make the thing bearable. Normally borrow my mates van, normally needs a good clean but does the job.

Where do you stay in Diamond Fork and how easy is it to get a trailer in there? We stay a lot at Spanish Fork River Park which is right across the highway. It's not ideal but its a very short drive and the kids love the open space and playground. It's right on the river though so I get a bit of anxiety with 7-10 little kids running toward the muddy river to throw rocks. But the fee has been jacked up to $20/night.

Also, those who haven't been to Payson Lakes should take their family on a Saturday or Sunday picknick there. It is the most gorgeous forest in Utah. Plenty to do on a day trip too. Waterfall hike, swimming, canoeing and fishing.

We stay at the diamond fork campground (a few miles from highway 6 on diamond fork road). Its ****ing 24 dollars per night but its a nice place, never ever windy, right by the river which has pretty good fishing and has an awesome "discovery trail" that is a couple miles long that goes around the campground. Every so often on the trail there is a plaque with info about the area that was made by elementary school kids, and there are benches every so often to sit on and check the view and each bench is shaped like different creatures (lady bug, spider, trout, bear, etc), and there is a man made beaver damn that you can go inside and an indian teepee you can go inside. The trail has painted bear paws to show the way. Great for the kids.
I have always thought about staying at the place you stay at.

You nailed it about payson lakes. I have said many times that it is the most beautiful forest around. A great idea is to drive from payson, over the top of the canyon, and down into nephi. I think the road gets you up over 10,000 feet high and has amazing views plus there is a miniature bryce canyon (called devils kitchen iirc) to hike to (only like a 5 minute hike on a paved trail lol)
Plus there is a hike to a place called the grotto that is basically a waterfall falling into a cave that is really cool. Only about a 20 minute easy hike. The fishing at all 4 easily accessible lakes is pretty good too.

I have been there many times and im not gonna lie,.... i have went nude before.

I actually took ron mexico and dalamon to those hot springs.

I was gonna your previous post but this was over the top funny. Dont know why. Maybe dalamon and Ron have growing wieners?

I would have loved to meet Ron Dumbs
and Daladouch and KEK but had too much **** going on. Court and work, both of us.
 
This was my campsite from last year. I kind of went on a whim and didn't feel like buying a new tent to replace one that got ruined in a move. This set up worked pretty well considering it was September and we were 9-10,000 ft in elevation.

It's in the Snowy Range mountains 30 or so miles from Laramie. Hopefully I'll get more than one or two opportunities to go this year.

**** camping. Mosquitos. Hot, humid weather and uneven, uncomfortable ground while trying to sleep. No shower.

No bueno. No ****ing bueno.

Give me my AC, a nice hot shower at night, and my firm King-sized bed.
