It is true that anything can happen but it looks like it may take a historic fluke for Houston to pull through. Harden's defense is all about trying like you mentioned earlier, but it clearly affects his offensive game. He simply doesn't have the stamina to play high-level defense and high-level offense against a team like the Warriors.
Chris Paul is extremely underrated by many imo. For example, this the first time he's ever played with a guy like a Karl Malone, and he happens to cruise into the WCF.
Only in the most basic sense that he's playing with someone else who can get all the points
An all-time great. Harden will go down as one like Malone.

Harden is a ******* disgrace to the league. Hooking and pushing off, flopping and whining. At least the refs didn't buy it in the 4th. And without those calls, Houston didn't stand a chance. Can't say I like GS, but I hope Houston doesn't get home cooking in Game 7. And somehow, I'm hoping Cleveland sends Boston on vacation.

Karl Malone got the foul line a lot too. Like Harden. Karl Malone in fact holds the record.
I think thats what he meant.
But in alll seriousness, it is kind of funny how bad Jazz fanz hate Harden for foul hunting and getting the line, but yet our all time greatest player was the king of it.

Difference is Harden took it to extremes when it comes to tricking the refs. Karl at least was really fouled 99% of the time, while Harden is like illusionist who makes any innocent contact look like a murder. He mastered that craft to the point that it makes me cringe everytime he fools the refs.
