Following Potential 2018 Draftees

Who said that about Mitchell? Wasn't I. The 7 foot wingspan and elite vertical would tell anyone with a brain otherwise.
Don has a 6'10 wingspan

KBD has a 7'3.25 wingspan. He is a 4 and will not really have a problem with it.

Still think we are trading this pick. DL has made a trade using our draft pick close to every year right?

Should I start a draft pick trade thread for people to post their ideas and suggestions? And no, this would not just be me and my ideas.

I am concerned about how thin/weak KBD looks. But I am really concerned about how slow he plays. Slow stepback into jumper. Slow drive into floater. Slow rotation on D. I just think he going to be too slow.

I have been high on Okogie through the entire process. He is a very aggressive player on both ends of the court. He is going to make you work on both ends of the court. He's the type guy you don't want to play against. If we are looking for a quality role player off the bench, he is a good choice because I think he will be a solid pro for a while. I don't think he's the guy for #21 because his value would be poor that high, but I think he will end up being a better pro than a number of the guys projected to go ahead of him.
Okogie is known for making bone headed plays. Physically he is a great prospect. So if we really believe in our development staff, that we can turn him into a smart basketball player. Then we should draft him.

His development from his freshman year was pretty massive. Watch this video during his freshman year. He's not impressive physically, but he's having a great impact on the game.

Then watch his sophomore year. I think he's a late bloomer physically. There is so much more bounce his sophomore year. I just think he's starting to scratch the surface of his physical abilities. I see a ton of untapped potential here which reminds me of Donovan from last year. And note, I'm not saying he's Donovan, but his college tape reminds me of what I was looking at last year.

So at this point, the top 5 picks are still likely to include: Ayton, Bagley, Bamba, Doncic and Jackson Jr.

The next 5 picks are likely to include: Porter Jr., Carter, Young, Mikal Bridges and lets say Miles Bridges for now.

The guys expected to go 11 - 15 would then include: Walker, Sexton, Knox, Williams and SGA (though one of these guys could drop a few spots).

So the next group of guys would be expected to include: Zhaire Smith, Troy Brown Jr., Keita Bates-Diop, Elie Okobo, Kevin Huerter and lets say Chandler Hutchison. I'd say the Jazz are 90% likely to end up with one of theses guys if they stay at #21, or even if they move up a few spots.

Sleeper picks that could sneak into that group would be Melvin Frazier, Dzanan Musa, Anfernee Simons, Jerome Robinson and Mitchell Robinson. I'm not sure about Okogie. I'm doubting it somehow.

I'd be surprised if Donte Divincenzo or Grayson Allen are quite in this last group, but I guess stranger things have happened. I think Landry Shamet, Khyri Thomas, Deanthony Melton and Gary Trent Jr. might also be considered on par with Donte and Grayson, but I'm just speculating. Jacob Evans should be in that next group as well.
