I want nothing to do with this guy. His response today to Eskin (who is an epic moron mind you) was childish. I don’t want executives in our FO who are gonna get into Twitter wars like that. Or Executives in our FO who are going to backstab our GM (as he did in Philly) for childish reasons.

Philly fans hate him with passion!

They had a poll about whether he should be fired or not on RealGM and it came out 96%+ 'yes'. it's kind of hard to get to that level of animus against anyone, let alone against someone who is not really front and center in his role(like a GM or headcoach, etc.).

Here's what their explanation was:

He will lie or mislead (primarily about injuries) to sell you tickets. He also had a big role in Hinkie's ousting. We suspect he had a role in Embiid playing hurt because it was a nationally televised game, which exacerbated the injury, leading to a season-ending knee injury. I don't know his backstory with this reporter or others, but it sounds like there is something going on there. He could/should have just said he wasn't going anywhere and left the commentary out. If he responds like this, no wonder fans don't like him. I figure there have been other things going on back and forth with some media members and he is choosing to be defensive. Bad call.
