What's new

Jeremy Evans Rookie Season Mix

Man can that kid fly. I vote you as #1 Jazz Fan, Prodigy. You ought to be on the team payroll for all of the stuff you put together. Are you?

Yep, nice vid. I'll take my crow now ... I said he'd do NOTHING .. as in at all.

I didn't know a damn thing about him and was skeptical, but more confused than anything else. After seeing him at the scrimmage, it immediately made sense even then.

I don't know exactly where he fits in with this rebuilding project, but his ceiling is being one of your 8 guys playing serious minutes. I can see him getting there (if he learns to add a 3-pointer to his game and put some weight on his legs).

Being a UK fan, living (at least part of the year) in Kentucky, I caught some Western Kentucky games. He never did ANYTHING really special in the three or four game I saw ... so when his name was called in the draft (with so many others still on the board), I was like, wtf?

Back to my crow, I guess. Yes, add a little range and very nice potential there.

The way he jumps is so ridiculous, not just because of how high he gets up, but how easy he makes it look.

Kid belongs in the league and belongs on the Jazz. He adds an element of jumpetude that the Jazz have never had. Plus he is redeeming #40 from Shandon Anderson.

It was crazy to see two guys playing above the rim for Utah. Can't wait for Evans and Favors to show me something new.

Not 1 play wasn't a dunk, tip in, or block.

If he develops an outside shot and can put on some weight, he could be very good.

Yeah, the Jazz seriously need to look at cutting the most athletic, nicest, one of the youngest, likely the cheapest guy on the team. Get rid of that garbage. He's taking up too much time and money. And he's a cancer.

I looked at past threads. The Thriller was also by far the biggest Hayward hater on the board.

it will be interesting to see where this kid is able to take his game. I was encouraged by the many signs (toward the end of last year) that indicated he could be a good team and individual defender. I think he could become a valuable STARTER on this team as a 5th option that brings intangibles that no one else can. We could end up with solid offensive threats at 1, 2, 4, and 5, so having someone out there like Evans makes some sense, and may help us distribute the scorers' minutes.

And, yeah, The Thriller is the worst talent evaluator on this board.

Just read that Evans dunks once about every 10 minutes he's on the floor, best in the NBA. Guy has got hops
