Gary Cooper, while a fine actor in his own right, simply isn't as charming as Jimmy Stewart even though I liked him in his other Capra film "Mr. Deeds Goes to Town."

I thought that was Adam Sandler...

Watched the new Sherlock Holmes last night. I enjoyed it, but had a hard time understanding a lot of the accents. Sounded really mumbled most of the time -- then again, I'm getting old.

I thought the same thing about the accents. I had to have the volume up as high as I could get it and still have the kids sleep through it. Maybe I'm getting old too. Damn it all to hell.

Yeah, I just watched it a few days ago actually. I thoroughly enjoyed it and thought it was very well done. I was never sure what was coming next and didn't see that ending coming at all, which is very rare for Hollywood movies now days.

On the other hand, I watched Wolfman with my Pops last night and it was just turrible. I couldn't wait for that thing to end so I could go to bed.

Watched "Shutter Island" the other night. I thought I was getting "Silence of the Lambs" from the previews, but turns out it was Hitchcock. Not bad. Not great.

Saw it last night. The CGI was bad. The vampires die in a lame manner. There's no explosions. No bare boobs. And the story was disjointed. I've been told that had I read the books it would make more sense. As I have no plan to read the books I shall remain clueless.

All that said, the vampire named Alice, she's a hottie.
