Jazz select Grayson Allen at 21

Fair enough.

I do like his offensive game. I think it fits very well with out team.

I’m just worried that this seemed to be a stretch. Most mocks I saw didn’t have him going this high. I have concerns over his age, defense, and overall potential. Seems like his natural position(2) is already taken by our best player.

Would've preferred a guy with a higher upside but I like the pick. He can create, shoot, fits alongside Mitchell, gives max effort, & should contribute immediately.

At #21, there's a lot of value in adding a likely (at minimum) role-player who fills offensive needs & should "buy in" to a young team that is already competitive.

Stand by what I said 100%....you can pretend what I said isn’t true, but it is.

I like the pick a lot. He has a competitive fire that I wish more players had, he's quite athletic, and he can shoot the ball well. I hope his maturity issues go away once he's a pro, but I'm pretty confident they will.

On the other hand Draymond Green is still an immature douche **** and he's an impactful player, though I doubt Allen will be as good as him.

Literally impossible and being a serious ******** isn't what makes Draymond Green good or special.

He's purely a depth pick. That's what I'm telling myself, anyway. Once Burks leaves... who else do we have behind Mitchell? PLUS. You've suddenly got a rookie contract instead of a 12th man eating 12 million dollars.

People overreact too much to age sometimes. Good thing Jazz drafted Hayward young for him to leave the team just into his prime. Exum was drafted extremely young, really not reaping a lot of benefits from that. He’s up for second contract already and hardly a rotation player. People thinking about age in drafts are usually thinking 10-12 years down the road... that’s a long ****ing time.
