If Kawhi refused to play, he would be sued for Breach of Contract. And yes, the Spurs would at this point. Smith is a complete tool.

What you are saying is dumb... I’m not running my mouth... I’m laying it out for you before another poster does it in a less kindly manner.

They don’t need to dump deng to get Kawhi... this year or next... so why give away talent to kind of get off of Dengs money... it ain’t happening!
 
SA wants assets for Kawhi... not space... so they’d likely prefer to have Kuzma instead of “space”.
 
Anyone know how much cap space the Lakers have left? Do they have enough to make Favs a decent offer. Maybe he takes a one year deal to chase a ring. He might be the best center they can afford.

If the Cavs are gonna trade Love they'll get multiple picks for him and/or a young player. Who are we willing to give up? Thabo? LOL ...

Why would rebuilding teams give up anything for Love? In the same vein, what do contenders have to offer? I'm not saying there wouldn't be offers and the Jazz couldn't be beat but I don't think he will net a humongous return.

I think we’d be one the teams at the forefront of a deal... I’m not a big fan but maybe he hasn’t declined and has some of the Minnesota Love in there still.
