Yeah but who does Adidas have at the moment? Dame? He's like their only guy. With Donovan it will start to sway the $$$ going to Nike.

Yes, I think it's fantastic. Mirtchell is going to make the Jazz one of the most popular teams worldwide. I was only joking about his practice time. He's a gym rat and is likely still getting in practice time. All the extra stuff outside the gym just keeps him from overworking.

What eventually happens unfortunately is you end up spending so much on a couple players it’s hard to move to the next step. Portland is paying Dame and CJ so much money, there isn’t room. It’s likely the Jazz will be paying Rudy and Donovan nearly half their cap at some point and at that point it’s hard to assemble a 14 man roster with half your cap. The next few seasons are very important before Donovan is on the max money he will deservedly get.

I would also say, the Jazz development is great, spotting talent is great, and DL is a very good GM. Donovan has a chance to be better than Dame IMO. Game is more diverse and he is much more athletic.
 
I don't think it would be colorway because as far as I remember I've only seen him wear Dame's shoe so I think it will be his own.

I think what Cy meant was his own colorway in Dame's shoe...

But I don't think that's significant enough to be excited about. I think it's gonna be his own shoes.
