I'm surprised he's already out of the NBA, he was definitely an NBA player in my mind
Could be useful on a team like GSW if they're looking for a real big off the bench.
It could be a Josh Childress-like scenario where he's getting paid more to head overseas. If he's getting 1M+ per season then that's the case. If it's not (Thunder worked him out - maybe he realized he isn't getting interest), he probably went the safe route instead of sitting at home or playing in the G-League.

If this is the case the NBA g-league should be able to compete. IF each team was required to spend 5 mil per year on on players salaries in the g-league it would make it much more fun
Withey is going to get paid a hell of a lot more than 65K to play in Turkey.
Because some of us hate reading every single post in an endless thread where 90% of the content is of no interest. If it has a clear title, and it’s of interest, we can jump in an read it. Not like the summer is full of interesting news anyways.
Those draft threads are the worst. Wonder how many people actually follow those. If only I hadn’t that kind of time in life...

He was playing for the Mavs and was waived during the season. It was when the injury bug was hitting the Jazz and was wondering if DL might have had some interest at that time.
