I thought this was a really good video on the situation and one that mostly mirrors my opinions.

I agree with the guy, pretty much down the line. Still love Jones and don't call him ignorant names. If I started making my respect for humans conditional on talking the way I do, or thinking the way I do, I'd pretty much have to just sit out in the fields with my cows.

people have a fundamental, constitutional right of freedom of assembly.... in the US..... meaning we all get to pick our friends and shun others.

Actually, Rebecca Mansuer on Brietbart has had some interesting and very well-informed guests on her program in the past few days, discussing the fork in the road we are at today.

If the big platforms don't essentially treat folks as equals, the guvmint might in the courts determine that they are a public utility..... because as monopolies that can't economically be challenged by others attempting to offer the services, there will be people whose freedom of speech is effectively edged outta society. Either that, or the antitrust laws will mean our courts will bust them up.


There is currently a big well-funded push by "concerned citizens" to privately sweep up everything that goes on in this whole sphere, to document discriminatory actions by these very very lucrative "Deep Pockets" targets. Well, at least that's what they claim..... lol.

One guy whose been involved in studying Twitter was outraged that Sean Hannity had Twitter's Jack Dorsey on his program and was all nicey nice to him, because Dorsey has long hired a corporate floor's worth of engineers and charged them to begin demoting objectionable members and making it harder for people to find them, and still has all those engineers, still working on ways to purify Twitter. Mansuer's guest called Dorsey a liar and Hannity a lush.

The guy said he has recently had a meeting with Jack Dorsey where he made the point that Twitter will have to decide whether to be open to public without prejudice, or become a public utility.

I hate public utilities. I'm a co-op man/.

I'm a far left lefty and yet there are things that I agree on with Alex Jones.

My old commie friend who detested the "State Capitalist" fake commie regimes like Russia, China, and Cuba, had a John Birch sister. And so do I. The JBS is a stuffy top-down command society in its own right. But when I ran into the Huks in the Philippines, they had all the JBS talking points about our capitalist elites.

I got my info on the Rockefeller planeload of payola for Marcos from one of Marcos' top hands, though. The Huks knew all about it too....

But seriously, CFR folks are not all Satan-worshipping pedophiles, I promise. Pretty much they are fairly innocent public-spirited successful folks who consider it an honor to be invited into the club.

I don't think even Hillary or Bill has the time or energy to do all that wicked top-down control. So when they need help to fix an election, there's like maybe six guys in the DOJ or FBI they could actually trust to help them out.....and, oh, maybe one or two girlfriends or wives who can be used too.

This isn’t a left/right issue at least from my perspective. And it goes way beyond Alex Jones. As Apple, Google and Microsoft become ever more powerful we need to consider how this power will effect our lives, free speech included. In ten years all three will have 3 to 5 trillion dollar market valuations at a minimum. That’s heretofore unimaginable power and reach. (If you don’t already own stock in all three as well as a good AI ETF for the long haul you’re missing out on a fortune due to power of compounding returns). The largest corporations will dominate every sphere of public life. It’s crazy not to be concerned.
