Isolationism is a juvenile ideal. Most of us grew up thinking war is bad and stupid, and probably had isolationist tendencies at minimum.

I honestly don’t get this way of thinking that things can’t be different. Just because the US has been deeply involved in international affairs for decades doesn’t mean that it’s the best way of maintaining hegemony. Interventionism grows a natural resentment against the “invaders”, something that can very well turn around to bite us in the *** one day.

I remember during one of my trips from Spain to the US I made a stop in Atlanta, not too long after 9/11. There were around 100 guys in their 20’s in their army uniform, waiting to board their plane. I asked one of them where they were flying to. “To the war in Afghanistan sir”, he proudly stated. I still wonder which ones never made it back from that inferno, or did but brought some form of PTSD with them. The scene still haunts me to this day.

i called democrats RACIST and got banend for 6 months.

just a friendly reminder the repubs freed slaves. the dems instituted jim crowe laws balck code laws etc etc.

i suspect to see him get an infraction.

I've read some interesting things about McCain I didn't know since he's passed. Apparently, his military career made a lot of vets upset because of nepotism and incompetence. I read the dude crashed three plans due to failing to listen to orders.

It's crazy how what's written about people after they die can be so brutal.

It is an Orson Scott Card book centered generally around that theme, the idea that when someone dies you speak for their life, the good, the bad, the ugly, but in the most honest and unbiased terms you can.

I pause to block your posts from my feed, because you can be entertaining sometimes. But the misinformation that you usually post is so dreadful that it’s difficult to even want to chance the numbing of my own mind.

I had to click on the "view ignored content" button to see who you were talking about. I figured it would either be dutch or babe lol.
 
10 years ago he was supposedly a racist, fear mongering, far right extremist....and called that by many of you playing the pc game of saying RIP, and what a great guy he was now..give me a break.
I personally think we has always been a moron, waffling, vote panderer who betrayed his country. But hey, facts don't matter.
What some of you call civility is also called having no real stance. No backbone. No position.
But, with all that said...naw...that's it.
