There's simply no enough minute for him on the rotation. Donovan and Ricky both will play 30min each. Then Royce. Then Exum. Then AB. Unless we move Royce to the 3 spot.

I have the same quandaries about minutes. But there's no doubt that Royce can play minutes at the 3 (or even the 4, as HH and I have been speculating since this time last year). Q likes players with the Allen's profile; there are minutes for him if he learns the principles. I think he's got the most to learn on the defensive end.

I think the Jazz try to pump up his value early to include him in a trade. It seems like every year some frustrated star wants out and gets picked up for role players/future role players.

I don’t know that AB is a dumb player... I think part of his issue is system based.
