"Less Preferable"
I never bought into the “you have to vote no matter what” argument, or you have no right to complain about things. Sometimes it’s been my way of complaining about the electoral system as a whole.

So this hit The Hill today:

Most notably $3.3M between Aras Agalarov(close to Trump and Putin) and Agalarov's employee, one Irakly “Ike” Kaveladze. Kaveladze was involved in planning the infamous meeting at Trump Tower.

Im with ya. The electoral college often makes voting irrelevant in the presidential election anyway. (I know that the electoral votes in the state of utah are going to the republican candidate every time.)I never bought into the “you have to vote no matter what” argument, or you have no right to complain about things. Biggest news in awhile. Might spell the end of Rosenstein, Sessions, and Mueller. Who could predict it would be the "failing" New York Times that would provide Trump with the "information" he needs to end the investigation? Everything is up in the air now...

Washington Post reporting that any remark by Rosenstein of wearing a wire around Trump was sarcastic...

And in a Friday night rally, Trump promised to rid the DOJ of "a lingering stench":

Is he though? I just saw that he didn't step down and attended a meeting as DAG after his meeting at the White House.Holy ****, Rosenstein out before the election.
Odds he makes it past Thursday?
My theory is that someone in the White House floated this rumor that Rod was stepping down, maybe in the hopes that he would take the hint and do so? Not sure what else makes any sense, and we've seen this stupid game play out before with other Trump appointees.I'm not sure I can tell yet... but even getting this close is difficult. Donnie's made up his mind. It might as well be happening. But there's not a real statement? I guess? *shrug*
It would appear Rosenstein's cat is simultaneously alive, dead ,fired ,resigned, retired and suspended, with and without payMy theory is that someone in the White House floated this rumor that Rod was stepping down, maybe in the hopes that he would take the hint and do so?
