Proposed Rollback of Transgender Protections

A botanist? No.

I do have a degree in Crop Science, was fairly close to a minor in plant pathology. I’d like to think I know a little more than the average person when it comes to crops, pesticides, and their mode of actions.

Oh and btw, it’s Roundup Ready. Get the name right. I do not use any Roundup Ready crops, do not work for Monsanto, have never worked for Monsanto, and am far from a corporate shill.

Yo I just looked up what a botanist is.

Apparently I am one of those! And since my speciality is specifically in cropping plants, I’m doubly qualified. Suuuuuuuck it Eenie!

Both sidezzz

What a stupid tweet.

Some idiot in Utah sent two letters to the Pentagon and one to Trump containing ricin a few weeks ago.

You're dumb if you blame an entire party for the action of their few radicals. You're even dumber if you don't realize both sides have radical terrorists.

Of course there are bad actors on both sides. You're dumb (or pretending to be) if you can't draw a line between Trump and his alt right base's rhetoric and who was targeted today.

There simply isn't that same dynamic from political leaders on the left.

I agree that Trump certainly encourages radical behavior - to a certain degree.

Just off the top of my head, I can think of plenty of examples of the left encouraging violence/radical behavior.

Politics and people are a mess in our country, dude.

Both sides (ah yes, that dreaded term) are showing unhealthy signs of discourse, and violence. All of us need to work on fixing it, not just one side or the other. That was my point.

I agree there are extremists on both sides that engage in unhealthy discourse and violence. However, to me it seems Trump endorses violence rhetorically in a fashion I have not heard from a Democratic politician. So, it's not equal on both sides.

Do you mean political leaders on the left? If so, please name them. If not, it's a false equivalence.

The president has said of the media that they are "the enemy of the people". An adversarial press has been a constant in our republic since the administration of George Washington. In Trump's interpretation left leaning journalism=enemy of the people, simply because they criticize him. They are not the enemy of the people, but let him keep saying it, and reporters liked Jim Acosta of CNN will keep getting the "cut your throat" motion from attendees at Trump rallies, when he attempts to simply engage them in conversation.

The president, within the past two weeks, has referred to Democrats as "evil people". Really? Is he serious? Sure he is, and his words matter.

The president is turning anybody who disagrees with him, and the opposition party, into the enemies of the republic. He is the president of the United States. The blame lies with him. It starts right at the top. Is this what we expect from our president? That he label the opposition party "evil people", that he call our free press "the enemy of the people"?

Is he really the first president to ever have to deal with an adversarial press? Isn't it about time he grew up?! Does he not know words matter, his words matter? Isn't it about time he assumed some responsibility for his own words? Is that really too much for the citizens of this country to expect of the man?

Again, this isn't just a problem with right or left wing wackos. Elected GOP officials are encouraging this type of thing (intentionally or not) by using running ads like this.
