How impressive is anything Warrior players do when Alfonso freaking McKinney scores 18 in 17 minutes on 4-4 threes and 7-11 FGs? Curry and Durant make the game so easy for everybody else and each other. Plus when you're up 40- you're just playing loose with no pressure. Its a different beast.

I think at the time it seemed like the right pick b/c the NBA scouts saw burks with a huge ceiling. He just never grew into the player he could have been and a lot of that was just poor bball IQ on the court. ALSO, Thompson benefited greatly from the NBA new rules and style of play. Same way Ingles has, but the difference is that thompson is the greatest 3 and D player of all time.
