What's new

According to Ford- Milsap/Harris could be traded on draft day

rumors our the Jazz want a Proven pg.

I've heard that too, but I just don't understand it. What does "proven" mean though. I would think that Harris is a proven PG and I feel is slightly above average. He's not DWill, Rose, or Paul, but they're out of our league right now........not literally of course. I actually like Harris and feel he could give the Jazz some real solid contribution as long as he feeds our frontcourt. Based upon what's available, the grass is not greener on the other side.

I would not trade Paul Millsap unless we get the #1 pick back (#3 pick and Paul Millsap for the #1 pick). However, I would be interested in trading Devin Harris and the #12 pick if it meant that we could draft Jimmer before Sacramento.

May god save us. Wow.

Millsap is the man. I'd be sad to see him go and leave #25 behind for us to watch instead.

I'd still hold out for a package of Peitrus, Lopez and the 13th pick for Millsap. Address there weakness on the bench and gives them a chance to land 3 solid players in the lotto; Kanter, Jimmer, Singleton anyone? or Knight, Jimmer, Singleton then trade Harris for Batum?

Yeah, it's not a bad package but I would probably prefer to have Milsap in a 6th man role. If the Jazz could get Biyombo instead of Singleton I'd be more inclined to do it though.

If Millsap won't be happy being the 1st guy off the bench I say trade him. The org blew up the team last year anyways...

3 mediocre players for arguably the Jazz's best player? ew.

I don't know why but I think Robin Lopez would be amazing here in Utah and he has the potential to fill the center spot. I'd much rather see the Jazz go with Knight, Singleton, Hamilton or Thompson.

Petruis brings D and a 3 point shot. Lopez brings in Size and doesnt mind if he plays 12-20 minutes a game, lets Favors become an All-Star sooner, and with the 13 pick Utah gets a chance to land a lock down defender in Singleton, thats not playing out of position. And that is a ton of value for Millsap

No it's not. The Jazz get hosed. You don't trade your best player and best value contract for spare parts. Players of Lopez and Pietrus' caliber can be picked up for next to nothing (hell, we already have Francisco Elson and CJ Miles...roughly equivalent to those two).

I don't think the jazz would trade a guy like Millsap unless they could signficantly improve the team
