I think this is probably the first thread I have created this year and of course its about Burks.
It could be argued that Burks is having the best season of his career.
He is turning the ball over at a career low. (1.3 Per 36)
He is shooting the three point shot at a career high (48%) and is also attempting more three point shots per game than ever before in his career. (5.3 per 36)
He is getting to the line more than ever before in his career (6.4 attempts per 36)
He is shooting a career high at the line (87%)
Career high in PER
Career high in Win shares
Career high in blocks per game
He is committing the second least fouls of his career
He is close to a career high in assists per 36 this year and seems to really be playing within the system and passing well in general.
His defense is the best I have ever seen from him in his entire career imo.
He is in his prime (still only 27 years old despite being an 8 year vet) and healthy and in a contract year and seems to be the type of player that the jazz need right now while they are struggling as a team.
Despite all of this, he is playing the LEAST AMOUNT OF MINUTES PER GAME IN HIS ENTIRE CAREER! This includes the corbin years when guys like josh howard, cj miles, Richard Jefferson, Jamaal tinsley, randy foye, etc were playing ahead of him even during a tank year and he was getting dnp's on the regular.
WTF
