Yes, I know they did, including the addition of the 4th pick as part of the lottery. Still, the talk about Zion is just silly. The Jazz likely could finish no higher than 5th (and to accomplish that feat would likely require major injuries). They're still much better than Phoenix, Cleveland, Chicago and Atlanta. And even if their struggles continued, they'll probably still finish ahead of a handful of teams: let's say New York, Washington, Brooklyn, maybe Dallas and Utah all fight it out for the 5-10 seeds. So put Utah in the middle. What are the odds the 7th worst team gets the #1 pick?The lottery odds changed this year bud. You dont have to be the worst to have a good shot this year.
You know the worst part of this whole mess? Lindsey will again be reluctant to include the Jazz' pick in a trade because it's looking like a lottery pick. So we're in the Mirotic situation all over again. Dennis "Do Nothing" will likely turn down some good trade opportunities unless the Jazz turn it around and are looking like a solid playoff team.
