I find it very interesting that Rubio by far and away leads the team in touches per game and has more frontcourt touches than Mitchell. Not really sure what it means but it's surprising to me.

Have you ever seen Rubio not be a ball dominant PG? That would strip his identity and render him even more useless than he has been.

Because unless you score more than the opposition, the rest is meaningless. Losses with good defence, effort etc. are still losses. In fact it just shows despite that effort, your players aren’t good enough.

No, it shows that it's just one game and they had an outlier shooting performance.

Sometimes teams lose games. It happens. Earlier in the year the Jazz were getting blown out in losses because they completely let go and didnt stay focused on defense. This game they play **** on offense but kept to their strength on defense.

That's encouraging.

We won't go far with Rubio and Ingles in the starting lineup with both getting 33 minutes even when they don't play well.

If we had guy's at their positions that were outplaying them then you'd have a point but we don't. What do you want us to do put Exum and O'Neale in the starting lineup? The starting lineup already has enough trouble on offense but if you put a lineup of Exum, Mitchell, O'Neale, Favors and Gobert out there the offense is going to be 10x worse.

We don't suck but we are a major disappointment. The silver lining to this latest disappointing loss is that we should see that we have to upgrade Rubio. I hate picking on him, but the guy simply isn't good enough to take us where we all expect to be.

He was not good at any aspect of basketball tonight. That's pretty freaking hard to do.

This. Rubio is a great person, a really great dude. We all can see that but he is so bad at times it can make your eyes bleed. We all want him to make shots but it’s just not going to consistently happen. I would roll with exum as the starter.

I counted 1 game (I think it was a Dallas game?) But 9 out of our 10 last possessions were donovan dribbling the ball up the court and forcing something. There was LITERALLY 0 passing from him. Even tmac said 2 days ago if donovan wants to be anything like d wade he needs to assist more. His assists and turnovers are almost 1:1

4 or 5 of our last 10 possessions was Rubio clanking a wide open 3 or missing a close one or getting to the FT line.

Definitely agree. Time for quin to let Dante start and tell him to attack. Don't tell him to stand in the corner no u don't do that. The team lacks athleticism. So put your fastest and most athletic player on

You sound like an excuse making coach. If you were Nick Saban, you would say - "we did some things right but those things didn't win us the game. There were too many mistakes and people didn't do their job."

I do agree the fact that DL has to look at G leaguers at this point. Thabo, Dante and Neto are simply not deserving the minutes given to them. We need players, actual playable NBA players.

But I doubt we could find any other GMs in this league who operate like the great Dennis Lindsey, simply giving away decent players to other teams for free
