I'm really impressed with Favors' form. His elbow stays in and his arm is perpendicular to the rim. You can tell he's still honing his shot as his touch isn't great but I'm very encouraged with his results last season in-game. Him releasing on his way down doesn't concern me too much as I'd rather him try to focus on every other step being correct before releasing first. When he starts shooting more fluently, his release should come at the top of his jump like everyone else.
And I've said it many times before, all Evans needs is reps and confidence. He has got a beautiful shot all the way through.
Can you imagine a front line with Josh Smith and Derrick Favors and maybe Valanciunas.
"Youth movement" is what I'm saying about the Jazz. Which is another way of saying "Rebuild." Which is another way of saying "let's not waste time with fundamentally flawed players and/or big contract players in their prime."
The Jazz have a great opportunity to build a team the right way. There's no reason to compromise that with 'tards and chuckers.
i cant imagine such a bad offensive frontcourt. Zero effectiveness. We will score no points in the paint.
Josh smith is all about stats, nothing else. Kirilenko is 10 times better than him, even if he is injured half of the season
I'd much rather have Smith than Kirilenko. I think Smith is potentially very good. I actually think if we still had Dwill and Sloan, he could have been an All-Star with the Jazz. Given the teams make up now, I dont think he is a good fit.
Smith is unfortunately on a team that has had a culture of 1 v 1 style offense for a while now, and I think that has infected his play. If had been developed by Sloan, I think he could have been very good.
