Following Potential Draftees - 2019 (not kidding)

Gotta give Grimes credit for transforming himself into a good hustle guy after he realized he couldn't do anything at the college level. If he gets drafted in round two he'll be lucky. Average to poor athlete, average to poor shooter, poor length for a SG, slow. Very good and willing passer and can defend. But not an NBA player. Until he started making hustle plays he was pretty much the worst player on his team that got PT.

I'll have to watch him more. At first glance he seemed like a better version of Wade Baldwin to me.

Yeah, take a look. Last game he had 5 pts on 2-5 and 2 rebs. He just can't play. Like i say i give him a lot of credit for finding other ways to help, but he's a scrub at this point.

Reddish has been even worse, imo, if we're talking about disappointing frosh/nba prospects. Both of those guys look overwhelmed by D1 ball.

Cameron Johnson on UNC. He’s 6’8” and shooting almost 50% from 3.

How good is he and is he someone we should be considering if we pick around 20?

I’m assuming no and that he’s one dimensional and subpar on defense since I haven’t heard much.

Fwiw the state of Tennessee hasn't put out very many NBA players the past 2 decades. Only a few players and Wiseman id have I st Garland and I think Garland will be a fine player but a recall another former Vandy pg that you were very high on. Forg the the name. You ampped him up as better then Exum. Again FWIW.

Wiseman just got crushed by the #1 prospect in the any class college or HS Evan Mobley.

Mobley would be the #1 pick over Zion if he was of age for the record. Perfect example of why the one-and-done rule is unjust. This kid is gonna be a superstar...

On the updated espn mock draft, how are we at 21st in the first place? Weren't we currently like 15 or 16th atm?

Btw Hachimura intrigues me as a nba prospect.
Hachimura could potentially open up the Japanese market for the NBA team that drafts him just like what Yao did for the Rockets fifteen yrs ago

Louis King at Ore. is rounding into shape (after coming off a knee injury), and he's getting featured a bit more with Bol Bol being out. Look for him to rise up draft boards. He's 6'9" and looks like he's got a frame that can add about 15 lbs. He's better at attacking off the dribble and getting downhill than Kris Wilkes, imo.

USC head coach Andy Enfield has suspended freshman point guard Kevin Porter Jr. indefinitely for an unspecified conduct issue.

“We’ll reevaluate his future with the program this week,” Enfield told the L.A. Times.

“It’s very disappointing. We need all our players to be healthy and available. The last thing you want to do as a head coach is suspend any of your players, but when there’s conduct issues, we have no choice.”
