all good points there is an article that i read about Hachimura (to lazy today, anniversary of my sons passing, to look it up) it went on to talk about the reason for Hachimura not playing for the first 2 year at gonzaga was because he didnt speak any english. He didnt understand what was going on. It was to difficult to give him playing time. By his junior year he could understand english well enough to get playing time for mark few. Few was quoted as saying he wanted to play him more but couldnt.

He isnt perfect but he has the tools to be a decent NBA player. Now i am a gonzaga fan so this is also homerish but i would bet he goes lotto.

The difference though is K Johnson and C Johnson is they dont really even play the same position. I will be honest the more i watch cam Johnson the more i see justin jackson in him with a much better shot. K johnosn is a 2 guard at 6'6" and c johnson is a 6'9" sf

I don't know, to be polarizing don't you have to show flashes of greatness along with sucking? Reddish seems very unremarkable.

Reddish has had some good games and shown flashes this year, just hasn't lived up to expectations.

Keep an eye on a guy named Mfiondu Kabengle at Florida State. He's an athletic 6'10" forward who normally comes off the bench, but he has a real impact. He had 22/7/3 bl against Murray State this weekend. He plays really hard and has an NBA body. He can shoot the 3 a bit too.

Kabengele is no joke. Can score from everywhere and has excellent length.

I wonder if he’s felt disengaged. Barrett takes a ton of shots and then there’s Zion. As a third wheel (plus there’s Jones), his role may not fit his attributes best or he might find it difficult on how to fit in, so to speak.

7’1” wingspan. 38+% from 3. Improved nicely in last year from the FT line. I’m intrigued. But he’s old and turns 22 this summer.

He's a soph who did a redshirt year. He's got room for improvement and may be better suited to the pros than college. Agewise he should be comparable to Hunter, I think, maybe a few months older. He's athletic for 6'10" / 250 lbs.

What do you guys think about Brandon Clarke of Gonzaga? He seems quite decent as well. If he declares he might be in the 15-20 range.

One other player that keen my interest is Darius Bazley. He could be worth a shot in the twenties.

Louis King is a long wing who can make defensive rotations and knock down open 3s.

I was selfishly hoping he would have a bad tournament so he could fall to us.

How about Virginia's point guard? Solid heady player who might be there when the Jazz draft.

I'd be fine with Ty Jerome in the 2nd round.

Ty Jerome might be nice second round flier. He and not Kyle Guy is the guard that impresses me most on Virginia's team.

Also Culver is nice. The scoring ability is one thing... but he has some nice feel for the game and good vision and passing ability. I was trying not to like him, but he's winning me over. In fact, I think I like him more than any other wing right now(if we consider Zion a big). Yep... he very likely will be no. 3 on my board, when it's all said and done.

I didn't want to like Culver early in the year either- something about his shooting stroke bothers me. And not a great run/jump athlete. But he is winning me over as well. Looks like he could be a top 5 pick, 7 at the worst. I don't like him that much, but I'm not sure i could find 7 guys i like over him.

Overall, i think this is a good, deep draft, but a crap shoot after the top 3.

I don't like this draft and I don't think it's particularly deep. By the end of the lottery there are players that wouldn't have been in my top 30 in last year's draft.

About Culver... I haven't noticed anything weird about his shot. There is a bit of a delayed flick on his release, but nothing major I don't think. I wish he would fall to us or to a pick where we can trade for him... but I doubt it. IMO he will rise to top 5 by draft day.
