What about one 1st?
Or two 1sts but no Exum?

Tomic has played as much as Bradley. Anyone remember "Tony! Toni! Toné!"? We've got 2/3 of that and just need one more... who could it be?They can also have Tony Bradley... he is the new Ante Tomic... if a trade is unequal you just add Tony and it closes the gap no matter how wide.
If we are looking to trade with the Grizzlies, we should offer them anything humanly possible to get Jaren Jackson Jr. I literally would take that awful Parsons contract and send back multiple first round picks. And send Exum. Send Bradley. I don't care.
Dude he’s their one building block. He’s not going anywhere
If you're another franchise, is it worth it to spend your time and resources trying to assemble a package to acquire Donovan Mitchell?I know, but it's worth a shot right?

JJJ is on that level for the Grizzlies.
I think you're underestimating JJJ. The kid is a really special talent.I see what you are trying to say, but I disagree completely. Mitchell is our #1 guy and has been since middle of last year. So for a year, he has been our future superstar. Gobert is big for us too and is signed for the long haul. They work together and we have proven to win the last two years.
JJJ has shown that he belongs in the league, but he's not the reason they win or lose. He isn't a budding superstar like Donovan. They are a losing franchise even when completely healthy. And they are old. They lack a 1st rounder too. JJJ doesn't look like the guy to put a franchise on his back. If Memphis can clear the books and get a ton of draft compensation, who knows....
Do I think Memphis would trade him? No. But a man can dream.
The kid is a really special talent.
I'd say JJJ's odds of developing into an MVP caliber player are at least as good as Don's. Meant in no way to disrespect Donovan. I think if you called up and offered Donovan for JJJ, they hang up. The inverse is also likely true, given how strongly Donovan has taken to Utah and vice versa.I agree. That's why I want him. However, I don't see him on the same level as Mitchell or even near it. Jaren looks like a great player for a long time. Mitchell is the type guy who changes your franchise both on and off the court.
If we offered multiple 1st round picks, took their bad contracts, and sent them Exum and Bradley, maybe they listen. Maybe they don't. Memphis is a mess right now.
JJJ is viewed as a super-star potential player. They arent trading him to get off contracts.
