Their defense was meh in the first half. Quite a few lapses abd they were not connected. Blazers just were not clicking and were intimidated by Rudy.

The Jazz defense in the first half was awesome. Not Meh. Not meh at all. It was fun to watch and it was great.

The refs gave Portland the two weakest *** technical fouls I have ever seen. Like I'm looking at the replay and wondering if the fix was in against Portland. Those first two techs were ridiculous.

The first one on turner was so weird... the second one I thought Aminu clapped at the ref when it happened then on the replay he was grabbing his arm and I was like oh... that’s kinda weak then.

Royce was fantastic again... on both ends very good.

Ricky looked great... maybe if we keep him on the minute restriction for a while we can see what it looks like off the bench. Was nice that unit had some organization.

Not a great night for the refs, but at the end of the day it's hard to blame the loss on officiating when the Jazz shot twice as many free throws. Just too many missed open shots and some really bad decisions. I don't know what Crowder was thinking with that three attempt at the end of the 3rd quarter.

Some really dumb turnovers and some bad defensive lapses... other than that it was them making shots and us missing... we had some pretty good looks but none fell.

They pulled Gobert out and backdoored us to death.

Thought the refs were inconsistent and blew some stupid techs... on both teams.

The two Rudy turnovers were he decides to drive and the dumb Kyle turnover in the first were the ones that stuck out in my mind... just bad timing... we were rolling pretty well on the Kyle turnover and they end up scoring. Just felt like we had some swing moments that went against us.

yes crowder's shot was worse, but it was after the korver blunder that I had that feeling, that's all i'm saying.

Also, I lol when he talks about effective fg% because I can GUARANTEE he has no idea how it's calculated.

He said he didn't realize the shot was an air ball, he thought it went in.

Also my favorite is once a game he declares “got it” before the shot is in the basket or “looks good” .... I don’t even have to look it up we shoot 0% on those shots... 0/173 lifetime.

he's someone who needs to play with better/more creative players to be maximally effective. he can stay within his role much better with the starters as he can't really create offense.

If we can get on a roll and Ricky kills it off the bench maybe we can keep that alignment... like the Wiz are doing with OP Jr.

Sadly, I'm no longer confident when Joe winds up to shoot it. I hope he goes on a tear soon.
