Didn’t he return from the shoulder early/on time ?

To me, it looked like he returned once he was fully cleared for full contact. Since he isn’t a shooter, he got right back out there and tried to make his mark as a slasher. That’s fine. If his mark was as a shooter, then he woulda been out longer... evidence: his shot looked like extra-****/unpracticed when he returned.

I haven’t given up hope. But I’m definitely on-the-edge.... and have been there for a little while.

What is most frustrating about this all situation is that we still do not know what the **** Exum is. Is he a useless bust like he looked at the start of the season or is he last two week Exum which looked like decent backup PG? Kid just can't put together a decent string of games where you can accurately judge him.

U have no clue. He's not going to be decent back up. He's going to be a starter. I want to see him healthy. I want him to play alongside Donovan and that would be exciting to watch for years to come....

He looked really good before getting the injury... otherwise I would have been completely out on him. I'm only throwing cold water here because some think he has some trade value... I don't think that's the case really. How many teams if any would give us an expiring contract of a bad player for him? How many would give an expiring on a useful player? Anyone gonna go further than that?

I wish the final year was a team option (I think there is some ambiguity there), but the reporting indicates it was 3 years no options.

For the first time he played with the ball in his hands at the top or at the 45. So u have to blame quin for stalling his growth. Okay... I said he was playing well... Part of it may have just been abnormally hot shooting though. I don't expect him to shoot 50% from three. Guys can go through stints where they are hot for 10 games and its flukey... See Burks, Alec...

I needed to see another 10-15 games to feel good about it... not just as simple as he had the ball in his hands... he's had that plenty.

Whatevs. If he takes another three and a half weeks, so be it. But I’ll be frustrated as **** if he then takes seven weeks after that to show a consistent semblance of the solid game he was displaying pre-injury.

All bball players under the age of 35 get a free ACL tear without any accusations of being injury prone. Look at the general medical stats. That injury has become super common.

If Dante isn’t injury prone, then he’s definitely poor AF at healing up quickly.

It's a shame Pelinka is the GM of the Lakers now and not Dante's agent, otherwise he could ask him where they sent Kobe to get that special treatment in Germany. Maybe he can get Ben to ask Embiid about where he went in his second season that saved his career (Qatar?).
