Wiz gets an ideal player they want. NOLA does it to shed massive cap, get a good 2019 pick and another decent one. We suck it up taking Mahinmi, but we get Jrue.

Pelicans take on some salary but stock up on picks and get to roll the dice on Exum/Allen, Washington gets off Mahinmi's contract and replaces him with Favors at the cost of a 1st and a 2nd, and Jazz move into contend now with Jrue/Mirotic. I think the Pelicans would still say no though but it would be close.

He plays SG, Mitchell plays point and in the Jazz' system/with Ingles there there's no need for a pure point anyway since every has the opportunity to create. The play making would be split between Mitchell/Ingles/Holiday with an elite roll man in Gobert and a pick n pop threat in Mirotic + shooters off the bench.

Grumpy old guy here to tell you my biggest trade deadline complaint.

Can the sports writers not find another word to describe a trade other than "Blockbuster"?

Injured Porzingas and overpaid Hardaway for some other overpaid old guys and picks and Hoopshype headline reads "Blockbuster" .

Fyi according to etymology online blockbuster is a spectacularly successful production.
