I hate the idea of Gobert losing out on an all star nod because of the Jazz' slow start when KAT played like **** the first 10 games or so because Jimmy Butler was hurting his feelings and he visibly pouted on the floor when Butler was playing. Especially when Jimmy Butler got penalised in the East for the saga by not getting a spot, I don't see how KAT gets a pass for basically throwing games with his play while Butler was on the team because Butler is the bad guy but Gobert doesn't when he was actively trying and it was his guards that were letting him down.

edit: Donovan Mitchell should (rightfully) be penalised for the Jazz' slow start since his play from Oct - mid December vs his play in January in particular is night and day, but Gobert getting penalised for it too is garbage.

KAT's an All Star. I don't have a problem with KAT. It's Klay Thompson and LMA I wonder about.

Also, if I'm the Jazz, I'd give Rudy his $1M bonus for being an All Star regardless.

I agree with everything. But Mitchell is better at long-range shooting and mid range. But Simmons is on another level

Coaches have no excuse to not vote Rudy in.

But..
Everyone knows its hard to get recognition in Utah... so starting the season off so slow and being involved in way too many blowouts has obviously come back to bite Rudy. And if that is the case then I have no sympathy, those 1st 2 months were garbage and inexcusable.
