What's up with Gobert? So he got snubbed on the all-star voting. Big deal. He's got plenty of time/years ahead of him to make the team without looking like a panywaist, apron string, momma's boy, sissy.....and break down in tears! Just keep improving, which he has been doing, and his time will come! Actually, since the Jazz play such a team oriented style of basketball, it's harder to "stand out" as a top rated all-star like the other "one on one" "me first" ball players that the league is littered with these days! Would you rather be an "all-star" or keep your team moving up in the standings and in the playoffs? All-Star selections are generally a popularity contest anyway....and don't amount to a hill of beans to begin with! I'd rather see the Jazz go 60-20 and Gobert NOT be selected to the all-star team, than they go 50-30 and he make the all-star team! I'm sure more than half the GM's would pick Gobert for there team than half the all-stars that did get elected!

He's not a sissy. He's passionate. I'd be upset if he didn't have the passion he does. All he is looking for is the recognition that he has EARNED. He IS a top 10 player in the NBA. Not maybe. Not could be. He IS. To never have been selected to an All Star game which is suppose to showcase the top 24 players, is a damn joke.

maybe a top 25 player, definitely not a top 10 player.
 
Curry Durant Westbrook Harden Lebron Giannis Leonard Embiid Kemba kyrie George. 11 here. Is Gobert better than Embiid? Maybe better defender but better player? Is better than Jokic?

Look at his Win Shares, VORP, DRTG, ORTG, over the past 3 or 4 seasons. Look at where he ranks in those categories amongst the NBA's best.

He's #1 in Win Shares THIS season. Not Harden, not Curry, not LeBron, not KD, not AD, not Jokic, not Embiid, not Simmons, GOBERT.

He is a top 10 player. Period. Very few players in the entire league effect their teams ability to win games the way he does for the Jazz.

Stats don't lie.
 
Sorry , it was my mistake. Gobert is the best player in the history. Next hall of fame. The man who leads the Jazz to 3 consecutives rings
 
People in the nba and league all know of those fact numbers about Rudy and still disrespect him. It's a damn shame. Frickin coaches too, of all people they know how he absolutely helps his team and yet, they pass him by for other players who aren't effective players like Rudy is.

But he only scores 15 pts a game and he can't shoot. Most of his points came from dunks and 1~3 feet from the basket. He has no jumps and he has a limited offense. He is an old fashioned centre who can't shoot the 3s.

It’s the same reason why everyone is 10 years late to the “Melo sucks” party. I’d been saying Dwight sucks since Orlando but the response is always “OMG numbers!”

Seriously, the Simmons jock-licker is going to come in here saying Rudy shouldn't be an all-star because he doesn't score enough and can't shoot from outside 3 feet. LMFAO
 
Nobody says Ricky is a top 10 or top 25 or top X. Top 10 is too much for Rudy and he is a player that i would like in my team but not top 10 thats a fact

From 10’? Ok. I had to stop at 52 seconds when he airballed that one from the elbow. But let’s not shift the goalposts (almost literally), as you said he’s a center that can’t hit the 3, yet your PG buddy has never hit a three in his life. But, yeah, it’s the centers who need to hit the three ball.
