On Jazzfanz 75% of Rubio's haters are Exum's lovers. ..
I'm in the 25% group then - I'm not crazy about either one of them.

Sure. Why not.Now that the trade deadline passed can we move on to supporting our players and hoping for a good run to finish the season?
Sure. Why not.
This. We need an upgrade and didn't get it, so Ricky and Ex are both staying. Yay...?I'm in the 25% group then - I'm not crazy about either one of them.
Nah they don't suck, they're just not great and bad, respectively.

Ya I was speaking more collectively.Nah they don't suck, they're just not great and bad, respectively.
How long did we take to wise up on Miles? 6 years?I don't think Exum will be what anyone thinks he will. I see too much CJ Miles in him and his development so far. Flashes of good, lots of meh, solid amount of crap. I just don't see that changing much. Too much of a CJ Miles trajectory.

Then you don't understand those words.CJ Miles and Dante Exum are about as diametrically opposed as it gets.
Because the words dont make sense. Then you don't understand those words.
Lol okBecause the words dont make sense.
Exum is a top shelf, or right below that shelf, defender. Comparing him to Miles in anyway is just stupid.
Just to refresh your memory, Exum played great the first months of the season and often pulled us back from the 10pt hole the starters put us in. He slowed down after that and picked it up again before he was hurt.Miles issues were inconsistency, but his entire game was predicated around being a scorer. That's a thing that is very attached to ebbs and flows.
Exum's game is more connected to his feel. I think early in the year he was bad, but the entire team was bad. I've talked about how I felt the entire team's issues where spreading to each other, and it wasnt any one players' fault. Just a team wide slump.
Since then (basically around the Korver trade) Exum has been an impact player and consistent in his impact. Exum has the kind of game that he can make an impact consistently outside of scoring.
