Ricky shoot around comments to media

Incredible, I read comments that leave my face stupefied.
I thought that there were not as many fools in as in Spain and that they were more culturally enriched.
I was wrong

I hate it for the guy because he does love his teammates and being here. He is a good dude.

If he stays, I'm happy with that. He just has to take less than $10 per year. It's obvious that the FO loves Exum which means Rubio is destined to be a bench PG. I personally think he would be great in that role.

Of course, he has to take less than 10 but dante 12 or 13 right? Sure, it is meant to be a backup but it has never been true ?. Good luck with the crusades but it seems to me that they will not succeed. And I assure you that summer some team will give you as a minimum what you are winning now.

I agree with Ricky that team chemistry is underrated.
Underrated?

Then why aren't we championship caliber? We lost by 50 to the Mavs, and it was hardly the only atrocious game we've had this year. No team in the league has near our chemistry off the top of my head, Hawks are a good one, what's their record again? GSW has plenty of chemistry issues and they are about to chip for the fourth time in five years.

It's cool to have good chemistry, but it's overrated. Especially when considering trades, free agents, etc. If we had traded Rubio or Favors for more talent we wouldn't have suddenly been worse because our players weren't best friends.

Having five players on the court who's skillsets compliment eachother well. Now that is underrated, especially round these parts.

Richard has a crush on Kristen Kenny. I hear she just got engaged, then the Jazz tried to trade him. That is a sad situation.

You all are taking the wrong way. He is just hurt because he loved the team. Thought he found a home. Im sure he realizes he isnt playing his best either.

Talk about what have you done for me lately attitude from the front office.

I think the team deserved a chance to get to the playoffs and see what they could do. Ricky was/is apart of that team. They earned that with how they finished the season last year. They also should have been given the benefit of the doubt considering the schedule this year.

Floating Ricky's name out there for a way overpaid slight upgrade in Conley was a bad idea. That trade shouldn't have been happening anyways.

I remember the first time feeling really bad on a personal level about a trade was Thurl Bailey for Corbin. That ended up being an unmitigated disaster because it opened the window to the Corbin coaching era. Slightly redeemed ourselves by bringing Big T back in 98 or whenever, but still.

Chill brother. Vast majority of us were hesitant with the Conley trade. We see value in Ricky and love his character and personality. We just wish he was a little more consistent. Fair?

I agree that chemistry is very important, but that chemistry only gets you so far. At some point more talent is going to need to be added to this roster in order to try and take the next step.

I think the message through all this is that the Jazz FO are not going to sign him in free agency. The relationship is damaged, for sure.
I think Ricky will be back next season, but as back up, I think Dante will be a starter by playoffs, if healthy.
Obviously Memphis wasn't keen on him at all

It is nice to have chemistry but in the end it is the Front office's job to make the roster better. Ricky is entitled to his feelings but if he were playing better he would not have been part of the trade package. He should look at it as a compliment, someone was willing to trade their star for him. Ricky should know this is how the NBA works.
