No, but I'm just letting people know these projections arernt updated throughout the season. From June. You think Dante has done anything since that would significantly alter this projection?

Also, Dante has outplayed Rubio for the majority of the year.
you guys are missing the point.Yeah no kidding, this guy is super coordinated. Dante looks like he's a second away from tripping over himself most nights.
Sheesh they have him projected to cap out at 1.1 WAR at his peak. (DM caps out at 7.4 for reference)
played with the ball in his hands for the first prolonged stretch of his career? From June. You think Dante has done anything since that would significantly alter this projection?
How can you ever have a rational conversation with Exum stans when this is their mindset?Remind me how Ricky earned his minutes again??

I'm far from a Dante fan but I do often question what Rubio does to earn his minutes. How can you ever have a rational conversation with Exum stans when this is their mindset?

I mean if this is a conversation about Mitchell starting at PG and Rubio getting a reduced role, I'll hear it.I'm far from a Dante fan but I do often question what Rubio does to earn his minutes.

Thankyou.
Apparently seeing Rubios limitations and wanting Dante to one day be be given the same opportunity as Hill, Mack and Ricky makes me a one eyed Dante homer.
Thankyou.

The opportunity is to run the offense, not to stand in the corner.Exum has played 3,917 minutes for the Jazz, 59th most in franchise history. He's played more minutes for the Jazz than Rubio has.
That'll probably not be true in about 4 games.Exum has played 3,917 minutes for the Jazz, 59th most in franchise history. He's played more minutes for the Jazz than Rubio has.
Exum was pretty good in the first 8 - 10 games or so, he closed some games over Rubio in that stretch too before completely ******** the bed for most of November and the start of December. I'd say it's been 30/40/30 for good exum/garbage exum/injured exum on the season so far percentage wise, but you're right in saying that he's done nothing to suggest unseating Rubio. He's only just starting to figure out how to excel in his bench role, he has no business getting a starting spot right now.I mean if this is a conversation about Mitchell starting at PG and Rubio getting a reduced role, I'll hear it.
But what on Earth has Exum done to deserve those Rubio minutes?? That's ridiculous. He was atrocious the majority of the year besides a couple weeks right before the injury.
Rubio got a triple double in a playoff game, and was a catalyst for our run last year. Rubio did more in our 35 game stretch last year than Exum has done in his entire career. He's the incumbent, and Exum hasn't come close to unseating him.
Yes he does. Did U see how he was playing before he got injured. Sometimes I think U people don't watch the game. He played his best basketball ever before right. U know why for the first time in his career he played his game ball in hand. He shot a great clip from the field. He has a incredible combination with the bigs better than anyone on the team. And not playing many minutes. Also he's 6'6-6'7 can guard anyone and he's a great athlete. I've said this before U need great athletes to beat great teams. U people won't get this cause U struggle to understand the gameExum was pretty good in the first 8 - 10 games or so, he closed some games over Rubio in that stretch too before completely ******** the bed for most of November and the start of December. A two-three week stretch where he played well isn't enough to warrant unsettling Rubio. If you're Snyder or even the FO thinking about the upcoming offseason you want to see him consistently do this for longer than like 8 games before you start to think about whether he's your PG going forward or if he's just a great off the bench guard.Yes he does. The coach has been putting him in the corner for 3 years. Do U agree? Do U agree that this was the first time he's had a chance to play his game? Just think Ricky can't play against elite guards. U can't win with him.A two-three week stretch where he played well isn't enough to warrant unsettling Rubio.
