Dante has been out forever because he ded

Do you understand ankle sprains at all, Nate? They vary in severity. This is literally the first result on Google: https://drayerpt.com/blog/ankle-sprains-what-is-the-recovery-time/
I understand them quite well, I've had several. The Jazz training staff stated the injury was estimated as grade 1 and recovery at 2 weeks. Now a month after they just now found the bone bruise. The info the highly paid medical staff was incorrect, that shows they may not be on top of their game.

Facts like dante being made of glass, right?
Your a hater. U may as well Start being more positive. Cause the jazz need Dante to defend these great guards in the west. Not only that he can beat anyone off the dribble. So start being positive

Man... by the time he gets back In shape the season will be mostly over. This sucks. Why didn’t we draft a point guard again? Like seriously, why didn’t we knowing the injury history and ineffectiveness of our point guards? Did we think Allen could play the point?

Is there a WC playoff team that has worse PGs than we do? It seems like we put a ton of pressure on certain positions to compensate for our glaring deficiencies at PG. it’s times likes these where I genuinely feel sorry for Mitchell. He’s being asked to do more than Westbrook, DLIL, Steph Curry, and many other stars. Outside of Lebron, who’s asked to do more with less?

Shut up. Describing Dante as he is isn’t being a hater. Time for you to be honest and truthful.

6-8 weeks is pretty standard recovery time from an ankle sprain. Some players get rushed back, tape up, and play through it. But why would we with Exum? Hold him out until he is fully recovered. There is no reason to risk more injury to get him back on the court. I am sure he would like to come back sooner but the team is being smart holding him out.

I remember hearing the same rationalizations for Boozer. I hope we’re looking at this rationally and honestly rather than letting our “hopes” drive our thinking. We’ve now seen him miss 2 seasons to shoulder and knee injuries and now a significant part of another season has been ruined due to an ankle injury that really didn’t appear to be very serious.

To be clear, yes, I’m questioning Dante’s heart and toughness. I truly wonder if he still has the fire to play and play here or if he’s ready to hang them up or leave utah. I’ve seen plenty of ankle sprains, his didn’t appear to be that serious to me, and I seriously question whether Dante is as injured as he appears.

I question dante’s heart. I remember Boozer kept having “setbacks” too. I remember fans defended him too. They attacked those questioning him with copied and pasted links exactly as I’ve seen in this thread. Kawhi had “setbacks” and used them to force a trade. I wonder if Dante really wants to come back and play anymore.

Blah blah the world is ending blah blah.

Makes ya wonder how many times guys like Stock and Malone were hurt but just kept their mouths shut and tied their shoes a bit tighter and played thru it.

Right? Not sure if that was ever fully appreciated. I remember when Malone played an entire season with a broken finger. I remember Malone spraining his ankles, wincing in pain, and just tightened up his Reebok high tops and kept playing. Hell, we don’t even have to go that far. Look at our current team. Gobert, Crowder, and jingles take a ton of contact, roll their ankles, and still keep playing. Remember how jingles played through a nasty cut on his head? He just bandaged it up and played. Those guys have heart.

Dante? Doesn’t have it. I seriously question if he really wants to get out there and play. The fire just isn’t there.

It might be fair to question his heart a little bit, but there's also a really really good chance that the medical staff or front office wants to be careful with it. They did just invest 30 million into him, and he has previously been injury prone.

Dante is our new Alec Burks. Every season we anticipate him coming back from injury and being a major contributor. And every season he sustains a new injury or two. I just hope Dennis doesn't fall back to the "getting him back is our biggest acquisition" line after he decides other FA's want too much money.
