He is kind, thoughtful, generous, fun loving, positive, happy, reliable, trustworthy, loyal and there is no one I would rather hang out with. I think everyone has bad qualities and good qualities. When I put them on the scale for this particular person the good far outweigh the bad. For me anyway.

I also usually weigh how a person treats me and other people in their life as carrying much more weight than how they generalize people that they don't come into contact with.

I don't like it and it makes him not perfect for sure.

I also think they see what they are saying as harmless and victimless. They actually don't do anything to minorites that has any effect on them.

Like I said though, I totally get why you think I should part ways as you don't understand our bond and our relationship and would never be able to. The **** we been through together....... Man oh man. I might be dead if not for him. He has been there for me and helped me and saved me so many times and I have for him as well. He has brought so much joy to my life. I hope we continue to get together until the day we die.

I can usually put myself in someone's else's shoes and see their perspective. Thinking I should part ways with my friend is a perspective I understand and makes sense. But I won't part ways due to our relationship that anyone on the outside looking in could never be expected to understand.

I would let them judge for themselves but my wife adores him because he is extremely kind to her, he makes her laugh a ton, he is easy for her to talk to, he is really positive, easy going. I mean everyone who knows him loves him.
I would want him to marry my wife and help her raise my daughter if I died. He is the best person I know. I understand how there is contradictory stuff here. How can he say racist and sexist stuff and still be such a wonderful guy. I agree, it's strange. True though.

Also he doesnt use the n word so freely around everyone of course. It's 2019 and he is very intelligent. He doesn't just walk around throwing the n word up to anyone and everyone. There were a total of 3 of us at his house for the portion of the discussion that I mentioned that was in very poor taste.

I don't say the same **** around strangers, or family, or co workers as I do with my homies.

He doesn't talk the same with my wife and daughter present. Neither do I. I swear much less for example. My wife knows he says that **** though and loves him anyway cause he is awesome.

Black people, Hispanics, Polynesians, all love him too for the same reasons I do. He is kind and fun and positive and easy going when around people of color too. There is no hatred for anyone. He says things he shouldn't say because he is stuck in his ways and a bit ignorant of the words meaning not cause he wants to put on hood on and lynch someone.
His says some cringy stuff but there isn't any ill intent behind it.

Lol at kkk comment. We grew up thinking we were little gangbangers. Nothing but gansta rap. We talked a certain way. We were around the drug game a lot and had a certain culture around us a lot. We said ****** knock instead of doorbell ditch. We said ****** rig. We grew up in a different world.

Some people are more resistant to change though.

I have been around more atmosphere to help influence me to change. This forum often puts me in check and inspires me to change for the better. (Life on a plate comes to mind)
I still like the gamethread girls although I shouldn't objectify women. I ain't perfect. I try to change and adapt. My wife had helped me change for better. Co workers. (I'm in an office atmosphere.). He hasn't had the same type of influences and hasn't had the same amount of progression that I have. He doesn't want to hurt anyone. He isn't hateful. He isn't kkk or anything resembling that.
