They're stuck with Hayward because of his contract, and if he shows the possibility to return to form, maybe we can pilfer Brown or Rozier from the Celts now for a good price.

The Celtics were seeking an unprotected pick from Phoenix for Rozier. Ainge wouldn’t even throw his son a bone when the PR of his Utah congressional campaign took a gigantic hit by signing Hayward.

The entire Boston situation is fascinating:

- Can they have success in the playoffs?
- Will Hayward emerge as a key piece or a financial anchor?
- Will there be a major fallout if their postseason goes badly?
- Can they get AD during the draft?
- If not during the draft, can they even get AD?
- If not, does Kyrie leave?
- If Kyrie stays, do they let Rozier go?
- If Kyrie leaves, do they overpay to keep Rozier?
- What happens with Brown if Hayward and Tatum are both there next year? Does he get disgruntled?

They have more questions than answers.

Dang, I was hoping to see a post from ijazz about Gobert leaving and GH taking the Celts to the promised land on a white ship while allowing Frodo to come along.

I might be over my Hayward hate... I don’t think I want him to be an all star again but I don’t think I want him to suck this bad... glad he had a good night last night... if nothing else it teases the super annoying Celtics fans.
