I'm a Redick fan. But Redick does absolutely nothing that improves our current team.
He shoots the ball. He scores. Plus, I don’t think Quin would feel obligated to play him “just because,” and that, alone, can be a big upgrade point.
You don't think a starting lineup with Donovan, Redick, Ingles, Favors and Gobert is an improvement over what we currently have? Even if Exum emerges as our starter, wouldn't be that much better bringing Redick, Korver, O'Neale, and Crowder off the bench?
Not really, no. It's a roster with the same problem our current roster has.
I'm convinced we have to do something. Being stuck in the pack in the west isn't going to get us anywhere but middling picks and 1st/2nd round pink slips.
Tobias Harris is the third wheel we'll need, but think he'll stay in Philly.
I think Niko could be really solid for us. He is a solid player.
But if we are spending $20+, I would rather get the guy who has shown flashes of dominance. When Love is on, the guy is a game changer.
I need to see some great playoff performances from Niko before I start getting excited about giving $20 and dumping Favors to do it.

i don't think that's a given He 100% completely dodged the question of staying long term when asked by a reporter in Philly couple days ago
If JJ Redick could maintain his current production and score 18 ppg for us, then that'd be huge. If anybody could score 18 ppg for us, that'd be huge.
