It’s a good question. And from the evidence I would think that yes you can get a life time ban from that. Sounds completely dumb but they could just accuse you of homophobic remarks.

I don't think that she'll open the can of worms that is homophobic slurs until she has to cross that bridge.

In the context of this thread.....it's a classic line! In the movie, Tibbs wasn't offended by the expression and just went about the business of proving he was just an ordinary man with police know how to solve homicides that Stiger did not have! Yeah I tend to agree here. To many whites “boy” is just “boy”.

But when someone takes even 5 seconds, or none in many cases, to think about it the clear historical racism attached to “boy” is undeniable. Might as well call him “monkey”.
