Utah Jazz @ Atlanta Pigeons- 5:30 MST

Dammit could have gotten a game ahead of the 6-8 morass of teams. 5-8 all have the same record now jeez

Of course it does. You appeared to believe that I claimed that this was the worst loss of the season. You then brought up the 50 pt Dallas loss. Why else would you have brought up this game? Which I reminded you that I said this one of the worst losses of the season, not the worst.

Your lack of reading skills led to this unnecessary conversation.

Exaggerate much?

Games like these might weigh heavily in his decision to stay or go. I can’t imagine he’s happy with the role he currently has regardless of the paycheck.
It's a team option, isn't it?
You know Lindsey ain't going to do a damn thing in free agency. In Utah, it's keep your cushy job. So you go with the safest moves. Lindsey is going to re-sign Rubio, keep Favors and Neto, draft some old white guy who has little upside, and ride Donovan and Rudy to another 48-50 win season. And rinse and repeat.

Good thing it's not his decision until next offseason.

But yeah, Favors should've been playing over SOMEBODY.

Royce at the 4 would have been better than Crowder down the stretch too. Not sure why Crowder gets so much leeway even when he's playing terribly.

Other than this being how a typical player (or you) would feel, what evidence points to this? Favors seems to be very even-keeled and very happy to be here. I haven’t seen anything in his comments or body language or history that indicates he’d want to leave.

Again, I can’t imagine he’s happy with his role. I’d like to see favors stay for the next several years. I think he’s an important part of our core. It’s our guardline that needs upgrading. We usually play without a PG and our SFs could use some help.

I can’t imagine he’s happy playing so little, getting so few touches, and seeing his PT evaporate while crowder does his best Melo impression building homes

This isn’t an isolated event. Favors has been awesome this season. Offensively, he’s our best pick and roll player. The jingles/favors pick and roll is money. He should be getting much more playing time and more touches than he currently is. Crowder honestly is the most one dimensional and overrated player on the team (with the exception maybe of Exum).

I didn't mind the Korver shot. It's not like he has the time to check where his toes are. He's made shots like that in the clutch in his career and he drew a foul here. It was a well run play and a good look. I didn't mind Donovans shot either. It was a heads up attempt to tie it before Atlanta could foul him at put him on the line for only 2 and he damn near made it.

The loss, as much as I hate freaking losing, doesn't even bother me as much as it normally would either tbh. I've already come to terms with the fact that we just aren't as good as we were last year. I've significantly lowered my expectations so that it doesn't bug the **** out of me like it did earlier in the season. I expected 54 wins, homecourt in the first and to compete for a possible WCF appearance. But now it looks like 48ish wins and a first round exit is likely. I'm just going to hope for the best and cheer our guys on.

What annoyed me tonight was HORRIBLE officiating

another stellar shooting and defensive performance from jae "AND-1!!" crowder. why the f*ck do he and ricky get so much freedom to suck without getting benched? and kyle was almost equally as bad this game as well. would've liked to see niang get some of jae/thabo's minutes since thabo didn't contribute either.

We lost to the Hawks AT HOME last year down the stretch!

Damion Lee and Mike Muscala STARTED that game. Reserves included Andrew White, Tyler Dorsey, Isaiah Tayler, and Tyler Cavanaugh whoever they are... WAIT: TYLER CAVANAUGH "PLAYS" FOR US NOW!

Hopefully it's just an anomaly (like last year).
