Utah Jazz @ Atlanta Pigeons- 5:30 MST

Tough loss, but this one comes down to variance. When these scrubs hit 19/40 from 3 and score something like 15 points more than they average from the same kind of spots all season, it will be hard to win.

We scored something like 4 pts in the final 5 mins. It wasn’t so much their offense that won the game as it was ours.

Sure, we botched the endgame. Had they played to their normal level, though, there would never have been any clutch minutes at the end. It obviously sucks that we lost, but with all these 3s flying around, there are bound to be some nights where your opponent hits just one too many for us to keep ut with.

This was a garbage loss and it pisses me off.

We beat them in rebounding and even turnovers but since they were hitting threes 12% above their season average we end up losing. Damnit.

Yup. Bazemore is a 31% 3pt shooter who hit 4 of 6. That's just garbage, and not much can be done about it.

Y'all are missing something significant here. Could it be possible that Rubio is FINALLY locking in this season? Dude went 6-10 (2 of 3 from 3), hit all 3 free throws, and had 17 points with 7 assists and only 2 turnovers, along with some big steals. If he keeps this up Utah will be a much stronger team going into the playoffs. Might even get through round one with him playing like that.

Well, Quin has a system in place that is suppose to prevent that type of scoring drought. I don't know exactly what happened as I was unable to watch this game....maybe we just missed a bunch of easy shots? Unforced turnovers? I can hardly believe it was the Hawks defense that shut us down! You tell me!

For that game? Sure
