Maybe the main difference between liberals and conservatives is that liberals can stand to listen to 20+ minutes of that ****.
See if you can listen to it.Lol, oh so helpful.
See if you can listen to it.
I disagree on the base implied premise of the video being the “alt right playbook” and then being about conservatives at large. Clear attempt to paint all conservatives as “alt right”. Then in the end paints the connection between the two. Bleh.
It's part of a series of videos about the alt-right; however, it is a very fair point that it should have been better titled.. I fully acknowledge the bias, but I was having trouble seeing past that bias, since I share a lot that bias.
And further reinforcing my point. Are all conservatives now the alt right?
A great deal of it rang true for me, but I am not a good judge.
He completely leaves out ability, effort, risk, and coordination when he tries to explain the problem with capitalism.
What Liberals do not understand is just how hard it is to run a business or innovate.
The reason why socialism cant work is because not everyone will put in the same amount of effort, time, risk, money, etc..into a project. There huge varying degrees of ability and effort from one human to the next. Its demonstrated every day.
Good ****ing luck trying to get people to work together and put in the same amount of effort if everyone is paid the same and there is no hierarchy. This right here is the main problem with the liberal utopia ideas.
Why do you think those are problems with capitalism?
At any rate, the video was not discussing problems with capitalism. It was discussing mindsets.
Because only conservatives open businesses or innovate? Like well-known conservatives Warren Buffet and George Soros?
The point of socialism it that putting in more effort, time, risk, money, ingenuity, etc. into a project should be more certain of being rewarded, and less up to luck, connections, and previously existing power.
There was no discussion in the video or everyone being paid the same, nor of removing workplace hierarchies.
I wonder if you watched the video at all. Can you even reference a point it did discuss?
I think I would tooGod. If I was obscenely rich like Soros, Kraft, Walton’s, Koch...
I’d buy a brand new fully loaded sedan every week. then put a duffle bag containing 1 million in the trunk. Pull up to a random house of some lower class to poor family. Knock on the doors and hand them the title and keys. Tell them to look in the trunk. Jog to a follow car, get in and drive away.

I stopped at 1:33. Making arguments for conservatives as imagined by a liberal, not at all the arguments conservatives make.
100 % IMHOGod. If I was obscenely rich like Soros, Kraft, Walton’s, Koch...

, but i guess that most of the people turn kind of crazy, if they suddenly receive that amount of unexpected money. Pretty soon they have discovered a lot of extra previously unknown "relatives", "friends", "business people who know what is the best way to invest money" etc etc.
