The media hyped this story for the better part of two years almost like it was the next Watergate, and it's becoming apparent that there was very little substance behind it. In the past, reporters were expected to do their own research and stand by it, not just spin tales.
There were many indictments.
NEWS FLASH! The Russians interfered in our Presidential election.
Trump wanted to ignore that. Why? Because of the only thing that drives him at all... his ego.
So you're cool that:
1 -- Russia interfered in our election because they believed it was better for them and worse for us if Trump was our President.
2 -- Trump didn't want anyone to talk about or acknowledge Russian interference because it would take away from the glory of his mighty victory of the evil gremlin Hillary Clinton.
3 -- Trump called a true American hero disgusting names and said he had assembled a team of "angry Democrats" to conduct a witch hunt, when that man, Muller (a Republican), has served this nation his entire life, has taken wounds from enemy fire to save those who served under him, has NEVER acted contrary to the highest standards of dignity... and when that man ****ing exonerated him and did not press frivolous charges, or try to unnecessarily defame Trump?
There was a valid reason for the investigation. Barr said as much in his brief. Barr said explicitly that Muller NEVER went beyond the scope of the investigation, NEVER even asked to do anything or look into anything beyond what he was tasked to investigate.
Muller had NO personal vendetta. Muller is the best of us. The very best of us.
The Republicans, and Trump supporters in particular have soiled themselves and stink of it badly, in their criticisms of a great American.
You should acknowledge your shame. You should ask for forgiveness.
