What's new

Following Potential Draftees - 2019 (not kidding)

I'd be a lot more impressed with Ty Jerome if his press picture didn't look like it was taken at the ceremony for his Eagle Scout presentation .

whats ur feeling on Todd or Dante reclassing up?

Next years team is gonna be way better, can't wait.

PG - Maxey
SG - Whitney
SF - Brooks Jr.
PF - Todd
C - Montgomery

would be just devastating and lots of fun and the optics of it would be awesome, type of thing that younger players would look at and want to go to UK to replicate.

I hope Baker xfers to Cal and we land Lester Quinones btw. Kid can shoot the lights out, future pro.
I’ve heard internal talks of Baker to UCLA, but that may have fizzled with Dixon.

I don’t think Todd reclassifies, but no solid intel. No idea on dante.

Will be curious to see who stays/goes from the current team.

I am liking the idea of drafting Ty Jerome if he comes out. You can draft a guy that will give you stuff similar to what signing Malcolm Brogdon will give you. Good passing, can play along side Mitchell, floor spacing and a good defender. He would also be a lot cheaper then 25 mi per year.

Yeah, besides the 6'11 wingspan and explosive NBA athleticism, and you know, being a bonafide ready-to-go proven NBA player.

In 2016 he measured 6'5 in shoes with a 6'2.5 wingspan. Let's never compare him to Malcom Brogdon just cuz they use to wear the same jersey.

Xthren, please get less lazy with your comps.

White players dont have to be compared to other whites and guys arent comparable just because they went to the same school.

wow you really don't like me very much let me just start with the racial undertones

Brogdon is NOT white so i was not comparing white players. You have serious problem with racism and it is not with others

second i never once said compare in my post those are your words I said production.

This will be the last time i read one of your posts

I'm referring to your other comps in the past bud.

And you don't have to say the word compare when you clearly compared them...

Grayson actually looked damn good in that game vs Sacramento. I'm gonna relent on my bashing of him, could end up solid value compared to some of the guys directly next to him on the draft board... the only thing I'm gonna stay adamant about tho is teams will roo the day they passed on Mitchell Robinson..

More than any other offer they got out there, I hope they land Kuminga in 2021.

I wish Nick Richards would x-fer and thry get Precious Achuwia instead.. that would be wonderful..

Don't watch much college basketball during the year but just got done watching the championship game. I was really impressed with the Hunter kid from Virginia. Is he an NBA prospect? He is an all ACC defensive guy but he was really money on offense. Beside the fact I thought he made life miserably for Culver who I heard is a top 10 NBA prospect.

Yes, DeAndre Hunter is expected to be a lottery pick

Yeah, Hunter will go in the top 10. I'd probably take him 4th tbh.

He'll probably go top 10. Tye Jerome may have played himself into the first round too.
Kyle Guy will go back for his senior year. I see him as a Nigel Williams Goss type player where he could get drafted late in 2020, but making a team looks like an uphill battle. (Williams Goss is playing pretty well in Europe btw) Maybe he'll get better. I like his leadership, ability to hit FTs when most kids would pucker up, and wanting the ball when the game is on the line.

I'd be shocked if Ty goes first. He probably goes in the 50's. He's more the NWG type.

As far as Guy, its hard to see him in the NBA. His body has improved a lot, but hes still rail thin with no length/athleticism and not much outside of shooting.

Who would you've taken 4th before the tourney?

Still Hunter. I liked him a lot even before the tourney, and picked Virginia to win it all. The tourney just cemented my thoughts on him. I'd consider taking him over RJ, but idk if I would have the balls to actually do it.
