I watched the first half of the game with my 10 yr old son sitting near me on our couch. At one point he got up and ran out of the room because he thought that we'd entered the 7th circle of hell... I think I genuinely scared him. I truly feel like we'd do better against ANY OTHER team in the western conference. I would have rather played OKC than Houston. I hate their players, I hate their coach, I hate the style that they play, I hate how badly they whine, I hate their basketball-naive fans, I hate everything about Houston. And here they are spanking us like a mad dad disciplining his misbehaving child. Does it get worse than this?

Joking aside, Houston is pretty much the 2 seed. They are a failed Crymello experiment and some injuries away from 60 wins again and the 1 seed.

Name a free agent who isn’t restricted who would feel our fifth seed and first round bump is a better situation than other available.
Now look at the trade market and tell me who you think is attainable for what we have.
Now tell me anyone... anyone that you think is more likely than Kevin Love.
When July 7 hits and we have nobody biting, we’re ****ed. DL has to make a decision or all that “flexibility” becomes wasted, so he takes what he appears to be a move that’s the lesser of two evils and deals Favors, Exum, a first and a second for Kevin Love. The narrative is that we’ll preform better in the regular season. Then we’ll operate above the cap to have the MLE.
