2019 Draft Combine

If the Lakers get the top pick this s*** is rigged, I don't care what anybody says.

If NY gets #1, the Lakers have a really good shot of getting AD since they have a top 4 pick.

NOLA isn't trading Jrue and I doubt Memphis trades Conley. This lottery just took away two options for us.

Maybe. The Griz lose their pick to Boston next year more than likely. I doubt they find a need to start a rookie at PG when they could keep club legend Conley. He would be a great guy Morant could learn from.

From what I understand the talent drop off after Morant is steep.

Barf.

The nba tries so hard to keep a franchise in NO. What a waste.

And of course NY and Lakers. Ugh.

The league isn't stupid. Here's how it will play out:

** Davis will say he wants to be traded and will only re-sign with LAL or NYK.
** Lakers and Knicks will offer the Pels young talent plus a high lotto pick they just scored.
** Davis will likely get traded to LAL to play with Lebron and make the Lakers relevant again.
** KD and Kyrie will sign with NY in free agency and make the Knicks relevant again.
** NOLA, who was going to lose Davis anyway and was a lame duck franchise last year, will rebuild quickly with Zion, young talent (e.g., Kuzma, Ingram), and a second high lottery pick (probably #4).

League wins.

That lottery was so exciting. That collective mumble when it was apparent LAL jumped into the top 4. 3 of the top 4 picks in the Western Conference... RIP Phoenix. Going from hoping for Zion to the 6th pick lolol

NOP has to be right up there with OKC as the luckiest franchise. Draft CP3, lose CP3, owned by NBA and get #1 pick with a generational talent in AD. Lose AD, get generational prospect in Zion. And OKC inherited KD, Westbrook, and Harden. Imagine if they inherited a ****** team with those ****** jerseys and with people pissed they stole the franchise from Seattle...OKC wouldn't even exist anymore lol

Hard to argue with this. I don't think anything was rigged, but man, it really worked out for the league didn't it?

If I were a multi-billion-dollar business like this, I sure wouldn't leave something this important to chance. I'd give myself plausible deniability though.

If this was rigged though, NY or LA would have gotten Zion. The money involved with that move would be unreal.

The Cavs have been the luckiest franchise.
