Unless they trade down, Morant would likely go to the Grizz. This will be interesting.
LA will get Davis in a trade. NY will get KD and Kyrie in free agency. Both teams now improve dramatically. New Orleans rebuilds with Zion and other young talent.
The league needs LA to not be a dumpster fire.
Oh yeah, I forgot about them. Just like the rest of the world when LeBron isn't on the team
NY’s package for AD might be better than LA’s.
NY can throw #3, unprotected Dallas pick in 2021 (the first HS draft maybe) , their own picks, and Knox/Smith/Ntlikina/Robinson
LA can do Ingram/Kuzma/Hart/Ball plus #4 and their own picks.
Here's your future Jazzman at the Combine?
Measurements from the Combine are starting to come out. Jonathan Givony is tweeting some of them...
Some measurements are trickling out from the combine:
Brandon Clarke is kind of short... I wonder if he falls a bit because of that.
Most wings measured well so far :
Very curious to see what Bazley looks like. Jalen Leque too.
It seems like fewer tweets about measurements this year. Did the NBA squash that too?
I dont think anyone's been officially measured yet. Day 1 is just interviews. The measurements that have come out are from the unofficial thing I think.
These are official measurements. Tacko Fall is really The Slender Man.
But not slender at 289.
What was Rudy's reach?
[EDIT} Crappy formatting. Reach was 9'7", wingspan was 7'8.5"
Name Height w/o shoes Height with shoes Weight Wingspan Standing reach Body fat Hand length Hand width
Gobert, Rudy 7' 0.5'' 7' 2'' 237.6 7' 8.5'' 9' 7'' 4.4 9.75 10
Wouldn't be surprised if it was Chicago. I feel like people always know who Chicago is gonna pick weeks before the draft lol.
Could also be PHX. That’s my bet.
I'm quite interested in Bazley and Lecque. Hope they do well in the NBA combine.
That makes sense for PHX, but the intrigue of the draft is so awesome it could be he is trying to avoid the dumpster fire that is PHX, so he is leaving before he meets with them.
I love that they basically have announced the first 3 picks of the draft in mid-may. Tomorrow a report with come out that the Lakers have "zeroed in on Jarret Culver"
Phoenix and Chicago are both looking for PGs. I think that's why Garland and White have been rising in mock drafts a bit higher than you might expect.
